We celebrated Saint Davids Day together today.
Firstly we welcomed Father Ross and some parishioners to school as we all joined together to celebrate Mass.
Then we enjoyed a mini eisteddfod. Class 1 sang a Welsh song, Class 2 recited a poem.
Children in Classes 3,4 and 5 competed against each other. They split into different groups and learnt poems. Everyone tried very hard.
Mr Evans, our Welsh link governor, was the judge – it was a hard job. Llongyfarchiadau pawb!
